The FAA Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM )is seeking providers experienced with diagnosis and treatment of disorders involving mental and behavioral health to include addiction, and/or neurocognitive and personality assessment. Interested parties ideally should have experience or knowledge of the Federal Regulations and FAA orders regarding airman and Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) medical standards, how they are applied in the regulatory setting, and an understanding of the aviation culture and norms. Interested parties should have expertise both in their specialty and aeromedical considerations to provide advice and guidance on safety issues to the Office of Aerospace Medicine regarding airmen and ATCS psychiatric and addiction disorders, specifically to provide recommendations as to eligibility for airman medical certification and ATCS medical clearance. The Acquisition Management System (AMS) applies to FAA in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and various other provisions of Federal acquisition law. Interested vendors/Physicians can submit questions in writing regarding the market survey to the Contracting Officer, Krystal Au, prior to market survey response submission deadline. Any questions (only) about the market survey are due from interested bidders by 12:00 PM ET on or before February 10, 2021. All market survey final submissions must be received by 12:00 PM ET on or before March 5, 2021. All market survey responses must be submitted in electronic format to the Contracting Officer via email to krystal.au@faa.gov. Please include the Market Survey title in the e-mail submission.
