FAA Request for Information (RFI) Alaska Automation Capability (AAC) Challenge Based
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking innovative solutions to modernize the Alaska Flight Service Automation System, replacing its legacy system with a modern, web-based cloud automation system. This modernization effort, called the Alaska Automation Capability (AAC), supports the broader plan for a new national air traffic control system. The work involves supporting flight service operations across Alaska, which are conducted through three hub facilities and fourteen satellite facilities. The acquisition will evaluate solutions based on safety, efficiency, and innovation.
