The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Inspector Training and Qualifications (TQ) Division, an agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), seeks a vendor to provide a quantity of 6 training rectifier units. These training rectifiers will be used in the PL3293 Corrosion Control of Pipeline Systems course. The requested units will be designed for training inspectors on how to identify issues on a rectifier that lead to non-compliances with 49 CFR Parts 192, 193, and 195 code requirements. They should be enclosed in a clear or partially clear case that allows the students to clearly identify components and allow for performing demonstrations of how they work.
