The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) intends to procure 64 specific P225/60R16 ASTM F2493 Standard Reference Test Tires on a sole-source basis from Michelin, as they are only available from that manufacturer. The tires are required for testing at the San Angelo Test Facility in San Angelo, Texas. This notice is a request for capability statements from qualified small businesses, but it explicitly states that no contract will be awarded based on responses to this notice.
