The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has a requirement for a Ballast Regulator Equipment Truck to perform track maintenance at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo Colorado. The Ballast Regulator must meet or exceed the attached specifications. This Solicitation 693JJ621R00002 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation includes the incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333924. The Federal Railroad Administration intends to acquire a commercial product the Ballast Regulator Equipment Truck (see attached Specifications).
