Pursuant to 13.106-(b), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with the Florida International University for the Co-Sponsorship of the National Accelerated Bridge Conference. The Co-Sponsorship of this conference is requested becuase the conference is being administered and promoted by this Univeristy. No other University within the United States is conducting this conference. The intent of this notice is not to rquest competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a descriptionof the firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess hte ability to successfully perform this effort.
