FMCSA issued a direct sole-source follow-on task order to TechAnax LLC on March 21, 2023. A sole source follow-on task order is required to ensure continuity of operations for the Commercial Driver’s License Information System (CDLIS) Gateway. The award was made under the Department of Transportation (DOT) Software Engineering Support (SWES) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), which is designated as a mandatory use vehicle. The task order includes a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods. The services required include, but are not limited to, TechAnax LLC providing contractor support for the Commercial Driver’s License Information System (CDLIS) Gateway. CDLIS - Gateway is the clearinghouse for Commercial Driver License (CDL) information collected by all states and provides a gateway for enforcement users to access CDL data. CDLIS Gateway was developed to provide authorized FMCSA users with access to CDLIS. A limited source justification (see attached) is posted with this notice in accordance with FAR 8-405-6 Limiting Sources. The Contracting Officer has made a separate determination that awarding a direct sole-source award to TechAnax is in the best interest of the Government.
