The data collection needed for the LTPP program requires considerable resources that are not readily available in-house at FHWA. Therefore, contractor support is being sought to perform the collection, management, and processing of pavement performance and other data. The potential awardee shall supply all of the necessary facilities, materials, and personnel to collect manual distress, profile, FWD, traffic, and other data using LTPP data collection protocols. At a minimum, the potential awardee must be able to perform the following: collect pavement and other data in a uniform and timely manner at multiple locations located throughout the US and Canada, and ensure the data meets the LTPP program’s quality standards collect and test material samples, as needed manage and process the data keep the database organized and updated coordinate and communicate with many agencies, organizations, and researchers about many aspects of the program maintain and calibrate equipment used to collect the data provide traffic control for field data collection The potential awardee shall perform the above activities for LTPP test sites and other pavement test sections throughout the US and Canada and will work with the incumbent contractor to transition all data, electronic files, and equipment under contract 693JJ318C000008.
