Solicitation 693JF723R000007 is hereby amended pursuant to the enclosed Statement of Work and solicitation provisions wherein the Maritime Administration's (MARAD) Office of Marine Financing is seeking to retain contractors to perform work as outside counsel in order to enhance capabilities in various substantive legal areas and to provide subject matter expertise when necessary for certain, discrete legal issues relating to its Federal Ship Financing Program (Title XI). MARAD envisions the competitive award of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) that will allow for the issuance of Call Orders for engagements related to specific legal matters. The BPAs will provide an effective mechanism for the expeditious procurement of necessary support across three functional areas using preapproved contractors with established rate schedules.
