The US Department of Transportation/Maritime Administration (USDOT/MARAD) Location: Tomb Field at the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), 300 Steamboat Rd, Kings Point, NY 11024. Title: This is a TWO-PHASED DESIGN-BUILD ACQUISITION as prescribed under FAR subpart 36.3 to procure and install a new complete fully operational and functioning VIDEO SCOREBOARD on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The awardee shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to design and build work to include, but is not limited to, investigative work, surveying the area, design, demolition, rigging, supplying a new scoreboard, removing and disposing of the existing scoreboard, installation, commissioning, testing, training, certifying and a10-year warranty. The work is to be completed by December 11, 2020. All qualified Small Business offerors may submit for PHASE I. After PHASE I evaluation, selected PHASE II offerors will be notified with instructions to submit PHASE II proposals. Request for Proposals will be issued on this www.betaSam.gov website on or about 15 days after this synopsis notice is posted. Period of Performance: Work is to be completed 77 days after Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) is issued to the awardee. In accordance with FAR 36.204, disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
