Sealed bids from certified Small Business Concerns only will be accepted for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Project NP-GRSM 116(1), Solicitation Number 693C73-19-B-000029, located in Swain County, North Carolina. The project consists of resurfacing approximately 3.3 miles of roadways of the Deep Creek Area, including parking areas and pull-offs, within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The work includes pavement patching, crack cleaning and sealing, permanent pavement markings, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall within the price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. Construction activities at the project site must be completed no later than May 15, 2020 as specified in SCR 108.01. Bid documents should be issued on or about June 25, 2019. Bid due date and location will be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the Solicitation. PLEASE NOTE For security reasons, individuals requiring access to the EFLHD must present a valid photo ID and be escorted to their destination by a Government employee. Due to new security provisions, all visitors attending bid openings are urged to arrive at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled bid opening. All visitors must register with the receptionist in Room 100. A Government employee will collect the bids. Prior to bid opening, a Government employee will escort all bidders to the bid opening.
