The contractor shall delivery quantities of Marine Diesel #2 fuel Red Dye to the JRRF as requested by telephone call from either the JRRF Fleet Superintendent or the Harbor Master. The estimated annual quantity of fuel ordered during a one-year period is 23,000 gallons. The average delivery quantity per delivery is between 4200 and 4500 gallons. MARAD will be obligated to pay only for the actual quantity of fuel delivered. The contractor shall be compensated based on the market price for Marine Diesel Fuel #2 Red Dye as established by the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) reference price per gallon as of the date of delivery plus a delivery charge as awarded under resulting purchase order.
