The FAA will utilize information obtained through this RFI to assess the feasibility of developing requirements for a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) for the modernization of requirements associated with the creation and performance of automated ground-based weather sensing capabilities to meet FAA research goals. Should any potential technologies be identified, the Government currently expects to work to develop CRADA(s) with one or more of the respective candidates. See attachment for detailed description.
