In accordance with Acquisition Management System Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) decision to use single source procedures to award a modification to existing contract DTFACT-17-D-00007 to increase the ceiling for support services for Software Solutions Delivery and extend the period of performance by 12 months. The purpose of this ceiling increase and extension is to allow for the continuation of work currently performed under the associated Task Orders while the FAA executes its long-term strategy to competitively award an SSD follow-on under the Information Technology Innovative Procurement for Strategic Sourcing (ITIPSS) contract as soon as it is awarded and available for Task Order competition. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparation of a response to this announcement.
