Industry is notified the due date for submittals has been extended to September 10, 2020. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ This market survey is issued in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) paragraph 3.2.1.2.1, to obtain information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside this requirement among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesss' or 8(a) certified firms. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and demonstration of capabilities from large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small business; and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing laboratory operations and maintenance services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The FAA will not pay for any information received or cost incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor expense. This market survey is not a request for proposal (RFP). The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsoliciated proposals. At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes that will be considered for this effort are 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation $38M Firms interested in participating in the aforementioned survey, must submit a capabilities statement not to exceed 5 pages in length, addressing the following: 1) Describe your experience and ability to provide Aircraft Technical & Operations Support as described in (Attachment 1), DRAFT Statement of Work . 2) Identify any subcontractor or teaming arrangements that may be used to fulfill the requirements. Interested firms must provide thier capability statement electronically to: Contracting Specialist;Christine Kranz at Christine.CTR.Kranz@faa.gov. The due date for submittals is Thursday September 10, 2020. Any Confidential or proprietary information submitted in response to this announcement must be marked accordingly by the vendor. Such information will not be disclosed outside of the acquisition team.
