(2) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated period of performance is five years from the date of contract award, consisting of the base contract year and four (4) one year options. (3) NATURE OF COMPETITION: The acquisition strategy for this procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 811213, “Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance" with a size standard of $12M. (4) STANDARD LANGUAGE: This Solicitation is a Request for Offer (RFO), and an awarded contract may result from proposals submitted in response to this announcement. The Government will not be liable for any costs associated with the submittal of a response to this SIR. (5) Site Visit: A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 1PM (EST) on Thursday, November 19, 2020. As specified in Section L.2(g) of the SIR, offerors planning to attend the site visit must e-mail the Contracting Officer at daniel.f.leary@faa.gov by 1PM (EST) on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Note: Proposals will not be accepted from any parties that do not attend the Site Visit. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey. The purpose of this announcement is to conduct a general market survey to assess the current market place and to identify qualified Small Business entities capable of providing the services described in Attachment 1 – Draft Statement of Work, at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ. Depending on the results of this market survey, the FAA may decide to set aside the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. Potential sources are cautioned that no further announcements may be made. The responses to this survey are for informational purposes only.
