The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) located at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ; in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1, is conducting a market survey to determine the competition level among Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) (8(a)), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or 8(a) Native American/Alaskan Native Corporation entities located within 100 miles of the WJHTC for future architectural and engineering work. The FAA WJHTC is seeking capability statements from vendors who can provide Architect/Engineer services for facilities design. Projects anticipated for the future will require a vendor with capabilities in the following areas: architectural and/or engineering studies and analysis including geotechnical and site surveys, master planning, architectural programming, civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems analysis for new and/or existing facilities; design (preliminary, final, and bidding documents) of new and/or existing facilities to include new constructions, renovations, alterations, restorations, change in use, additions, site work and paving, utility improvements, and electrical/mechanical systems upgrades or reconfigurations. Interested vendors are invited to submit capability statements that demonstrate their qualifications/capabilities in the disciplines listed above. Capability statements must not exceed 10, single-sided pages. Pages in excess of 10 will not be reviewed or considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement are 541310 – Architectural Services, with a size standard of $7 million OR 541330- Engineering Services, with a size standard of $14 million. Vendors are asked to electronically submit their capabilities statement, the attached Business Declaration Form and a copy of their (SEDB) (8(a)) certification (if applicable) to Nicole.Saiauskie@faa.gov no later than 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 11, 2019. All questions must be submitted in writing, via email to Nicole.Saiauskie@faa.gov. This is a market survey seeking capability statements from interested vendors. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to the announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with vendors’ submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense.
