In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), this announcement is made to inform industry of the FAA’s decision to use single source procedures to issue an order under Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) 692M15-19-A-00001 with Microsoft Corporation for the FAA’s Unified Support Services renewal for the FAA’s Office Government Community Cloud (O365 GCC). Microsoft Corporation is the OEM for the software products requiring support and its Unified Support employees are the only technicians capable of accessing proprietary operating systems information and application code in M365 products to provide timely software upgrades/enhancements, technical support and software troubleshooting assistance with the level of expertise necessary to provide the response needed to avoid negative impact to the FAA's operational mission.
