This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-06 dated July, 31 2024. This requirement is being solicited as 100% Total Small Business Set Aside using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 333517 – Machine Tool Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. The solicitation number is 6923G524Q1494. **NOTE: Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and have an active registration at the time of this solicitation closing. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: See Attachment B –Pricing Sheet. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) has a requirement to purchase a new machine lathe for the GLS Machine Shop located at 251 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662. The machine lathe shall meet or exceed the specification in the Statement of Work (Attachment A). CONTRACT TYPE: This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) that will result in the award of a firm fixed price purchase order. CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The awarded vendor shall deliver the machine lathe no more than 30 weeks after award. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The awarded vendor shall deliver the machine lathe to 251 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662.
