The due date remains January 26, 2024 at 2:00pm EST. ////NOTHING FOLLOWS///// AMENDMENT 0001 The purpose of this amendment is to extend the quotation due date to 26 January 2024 at 2:00PM. //NOTHING FOLLOWS// This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the Format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-03 dated April 26, 2023. This requirement is being solicited as Full and Open Competition using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisitions for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS Code is 562111 -Solid Waste Collection with a small business size standard of $47 million. The solicitation number is 6923G524Q0003. **NOTE: Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and have an active registration at the time of this solicitation closing. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: See Attachment B –Pricing Sheet. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide dumpster-type containers, truck(s) and driver(s), to collect, remove, and dispose of all solid wastes and recyclables belonging to and generated by Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) at various facility locations in Massena, NY. All in exact accordance with this solicitation and the attached Statement of Work (Attachment A). CONTRACT TYPE: This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) that will result in the award of a time and materials, contract under FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5, subject to the availability of funds. CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The performance period for this requirement includes a (1) one-year base period that starts on or about February 1, 2024, and four (4) one-year option periods. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The place of performance shall be the various facilities located at Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS), Massena, NY. QUESTIONS DUE DATE: Quotations must be sent via e-mail to Purchasing@dot.gov, arriving no later than January 10, 2024, 2:00 PM EST..
