Nothing follows. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes (offers) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 6923G522Q0604 is issued as a request for quotation. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, facilities and such other things as are necessary except as otherwise specified to perform dry-docking repairs and alterations to the vessel in accordance with this solicitation and attached statement of work, specifications and drawings. 1.2 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE All work is to be performed at selected contractor’s shipyard/facility. 1.3 DELIVERY AND RETRIEVAL OF VESSEL To minimize the risk of damage to the BUOY BARGE while in transit, only GLS personnel shall deliver vessel to the contractor’s shipyard/facility and retrieve the vessel from the same facility upon completion of the work. 1.4 GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATION The BUOY BARGE is restricted to the St. Lawrence River, Lake Ontario, and Lake Erie. Quotes received outside of the geographic restricted area will not be considered. 1.5 BRAND-JUSTIFICATIONS Some components identified in the Statement of Work require specific brand names. Brand-Name Justifications are attached as pdf files. 1.6 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE All work must be completed and the barge ready for retrieval no later than 07 October 2022.
