The proje... The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) plans to issue a contract to rehabilitate deteriorated concrete in the inlet manifold (“teardrop”) areas of Eisenhower Lock. The project contains an estimated 25 cubic yards of deteriorated concrete removal and 50 cubic yards of new concrete to be placed. The work comprises demolition (removal of unsound concrete) and placing of steel-reinforced dry mix shotcrete to original as-constructed profiles. The Contractor shall provide all lights, heat, work platforms, materials and personnel access, water and all other utilities that are required for the work. Work will be completed between on or about January 11, 2022 and on or about March 5, 2022. The invitation for bid (IFB) will be released for bids on or about August 23, 2021 with bids due on or about September 22, 2021. The estimated project cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit scheduled on September 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM ET. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway.
