The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation(SLSDC) will replace four(4) dynamometers and corresponding displays for our stiffleg derrick cranes at Eisenhower and Snell Locks in Massena, New York. This includes removing the existing Rayco Wylie equipment, installing replacements, testing, and verifying the new equipment meets the performance requirements. The dynamometers and corresponding displays were developed by Rayco Wylie specifically to address common issues that occur while overcoming friction when lifting loads on SLSDC cranes. Rayco Wylie components include the load sensor, boom angle sensor, and wind speed sensor, which will not work with any other manufacturer’s equipment.
