Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials, and perform all work to install One (1) 40hp turbine style dewatering pit pump and Three (3) hatch covers each at both Snell Lock & Eisenhower Lock located in Massena, New York. The work is to include but is not limited to, the demolition of old and installation of new pump units, hatch cover sills, hatch cover sill concrete work, plumbing/pipefitting, and electrical wiring. This solicitation was amended on 09/16/2020. Amendment 6923G520B1044A00001 is provided as an attachment and must be signed and returned with bids. 6923G520B1044 is amended as follows: 1. There is the potential for the unused bubbler piping to have a max of 15 feet of water head on them. SLSDC personnel has knowledge that at least one of them (Snell dewatering pit) is plugged underwater, there is no information regarding the bubbler at Eisenhower dewatering pit. 2. The unused bubbler piping to be demolished is 2" pipe at the wall where it will be plugged per the original drawing (326-CSG-36/1 & 327-CSR-36/1), not 1-1/2" called out on drawing SLS-370-250-2. NOTE: PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT AT www.sam.gov. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT, THE APPLICABLE NAICS CODE IS 23799 AND THE SIZE STANDARD IS $39,500,000.00.
