The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC) is soliciting bids for the replacement of eight (8) existing Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) and associated equipment for multiple Ship Arrestor Cable Restraint Systems, referred to as the Fender. The scope of work shall include the demolition of the existing and installation of the new HPU's and associated equipment, for a total of four (4) Boom HPU's and four (4) Pin HPU's. Associated equipment includes, but not limited to, Boom and Pin cylinders, piping, electrical and control upgrades. The SLSDC has procured the HPU units, the Boom cylinders and the Pin cylinders. SLSDC will turn over the equipment to contractor for contractor installation. The cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation will be released on or about November 13, 2019 with an anticipated response date of December 13, 2019. Project to be substantially completed for SLSDC use no later than March 6, 2019 and a project close out date of March 31, 2019. There will be two (2) scheduled site visits which will be announced upon release of the solicitation. Attendance at one of the visits is mandatory. This is a total small business set-aside procurement. Applicable NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $39,500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway.
