This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for armed guard services at the US Merchant Marine Academy located at 300 Steamboat Road, Kings Point, NY 11024 (Nassau County). This acquisition is a 100% competitive 8(a) set-aside. To be eligible for consideration the offeror must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an educational, military or law enforcement setting. The applicable NAICS is 561612 (Security Guards & Patrol Services, which has a size standard of $20.5 million. No bonding is required. The period of performance is one base year starting on October 14, 2019 with four (4) option years. The Government will make a single firm fixed price award to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. To be eligible for award the offeror must be registered in SAM (System for Acquisition Management). SAM information may be found at: https://beta.sam.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be distributed. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the solicitation and any amendments at www.fbo.gov. A Pre-Bid conference will be held at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Willey Hall - Elliot See Conference Room, 300 Steamboat Road Kings Point, NY 11024 at 11:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
