The U.S. Department of Transportation seeks a contractor to conduct dynamic sled tests evaluating wheelchair securement and occupant restraint systems for passenger rail cars. The work includes developing management and test plans, coordinating seat shipments, performing calibration and dynamic tests, and processing data into a final report. The period of performance runs from award through May 15, 2027. Performance will be for the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror.
