The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) Cambridge, MA is supporting the US Maritime Administration (MARAD) to develop the maritime vessel noise module of the maritime analytics for research and innovation on noise and energy -tool (Marine-T). The Volpe Center seeks the support of the contractor that can meet the agency's requirement for acoustic source level data comparability. The results of the market research indicate that the University of California San Diego (UCSD) - Scripps Institute of Oceanography (SIO) is uniquely positioned to fulfill the Government's needs. Therefore, the Government intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to (UCSD - SIO). The period of performance will be from the date of award through 09/30/2025.
