Volpe National Transportation Systems Center(Volpe center) Cambridge, MA is supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by purchasing laboratory services which include data quality assurance and analysis of soil and groundwater samples that have been collected. The Volpe Center seeks the support of the contractor who is approved to work under the Volpe Generic Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), approved by EPA Region 1 (New England), is state and EPA certified in all of the analysis required, and offers courier services. The only local laboratory that has been identified and qualified to do this work is Alpha Analytical. Therefore, the Government intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Alpha Analytical. The period of performance will be from date of award through 12/31/2024.
