This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6913G623Q300060 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04, effective 06/02/2023. The NAICS Code is 541519. The small business size standard is $34.0M. The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order to Real Time Technologies Inc., a division of FAAC Inc., in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). In order to continue to perform new self-driving vehicle tasks and vehicle grade crossing studies, a technical support contract (RTI Support Package) is required to address any complications the experimenters might face in developing new worlds and scenarios in the Volpe driving simulator. Responsible parties, who believe they can adequately provide the services found within this combined synopsis please respond to the Government POC by 3:00 PM Eastern Time, August 04, 2023. Responses shall include contractors’ capabilities to provide the services outlined in accordance with the Statement of Work. REQUIREMENTS/SOW (see attachment): The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. Please provide a firm fixed price quote on the SOW attached.
