Sole Source Procurement Action This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a SOLE SOURCE Firm Fixed Price (FFP) RFQ. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 with an industry size standard of 1,250 employees and the associated Product Service Code (PSC) is 6675. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Kuker-Ranken Inc., 6510 216th Street SW Ste E, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043-2035, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Kuker-Ranken Inc. is the only company that provides the necessary Leica survey equipment that WFLHD requires. All responsible offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A responsible quoter is one whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government.
