The Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) of the Federal Highway Administration is conducting a geotechnical subsurface investigation of a landslide on US Highway 20. Upper Sunken Grade is located at MP 56.1 (44.3983°N, -122.2607°W), approximately 25 miles east of Sweet Home, Oregon. The project location is shown on the Project Vicinity Map and the Boring Locations Map (Figures 1 and 2). This investigation is comprised of four subsurface geotechnical borings.
