The Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) of the Federal Highway Administration is conducting a geotechnical subsurface investigation on the Grand Loop Road in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The geotechnical subsurface investigation is in support of a project to widen and reconstruct a portion of the Grand Loop Road from the Golden Gate Viaduct (44.9355°, -110.7222°) to a point at approximately 44.8469°, -110.7353°. The project location is shown on the Vicinity Map and the Geotechnical Investigation Maps (Attachment 1).
