The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Western Federal Lands (WFL) intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm-fixed price commercial items services purchase order for Geotechnical Investigation (Drilling) services, located in Matanuska-Susitna Bourough, Alaska. The NAICS code is 238910 and the small business size standard $15 million. The basis of award is, utilizing FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation-Commercial Items, Technical Approach and Past Experience, when combined, are significantly less important than Price. The price must be determined fair and reasonable and the offeror must be determined responsible pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1. All offerors are required to submit a quote using SF 1449, and providing the information required from the "Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors and Respondents" section of the request for quotation.
