This solicitation is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. The final statement of work si not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section. This intent of this sources sought is for market research to determine contractors with the necessary experience and resources capable of performing this work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition. Project Location and Type of Work – Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) intends to solicit and award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for Geotechnical Drilling Services. The Contractor must furnish a drill crew consisting of at least one journeyman-level drill operator and one experienced drill helper. Additional qualifications may be included in the SOW. In addition, the SOW may indicate the need for traffic control flaggers. The Contractor is responsible under this agreement for the control, management, and supervision of the day-to-day activities and performance of their employees and subcontractors while performing the services required by the agreement. Services to be delivered under this agreement by the Contractor to the Government are non-personal as defined by FAR Part 37. Work will consist mainly of geotechnical drilling. This agreement primarily covers the following geographical area: the states of Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana; and Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Occasionally, work in other states and locations may be requested. The Service Contract Act statute will be applicable. The actual work location will be designated within each Statement of Work.
