The primary objective of the proposed contract is to seismically retrofit four bridges on OR-58 between US-97 and I-5. OR-58 is included in the first phase of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Seismic Plus program to create lifelines that will be used to transport supplies following a major seismic event. The project provides access to the Willamette Valley from Central Oregon. The following bridges are included in the project: Bridge #05286 (MP 2.46), Bridge #07894 (MP 33.24), Bridge #02073C (MP 35.98), and Bridge #01519A (MP 38.25).
