This market survey is to support the FAA requirement and procurement for a quantity of 800 Radio Frequency (RF) Crystal Detectors currently used in the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) transmitter microwave assembly. This requirement is part of the TDWR Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) as mandated by congress. Interested vendors must be capable of offering the RF Crystal Detector in accordance with the attached Draft SOW and document drawings. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and can show capability of meeting requirements as noted above for these detectors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard for this effort: NAICS: 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing Size Standard: 1,250 Employees Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal or quote of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing a response to this market survey. Therefore any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. The Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, parts, software/hardware/firmware, expendable and consumable items, and other technical and administrative support as necessary to meet the technical requirement for these detectors. In order to meet the capability determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: Capability Statement – - Type of services provided by your firm - Number of years in business - Documentation that clearly states the interested vendor can meet this RF Crystal Detector requirement All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. Central (Oklahoma) Time, Friday August 30, 2019.
