The Federal Aviation Administration, Central Logistics Service Area (Great Lakes) is conducting this Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. Responses to this market survey will be a determining factor to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. This survey will be utilized for planning purposes only. Vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. **All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing a response to this Market Survey. Any costs associated to this Market Survey will be solely at the interested party’s expense.** The required services are to Test, Inspect and Maintain Fire Alarm Systems located at the Chicago Air Route Traffic Control Center, 619 W. Indian Trail Rd., Aurora, IL and also at the Chicago TRACON District, 1100 Bowes Rd., Elgin, IL. The Statements of Work are attached below for both locations. NOTE: The attached Draft Statements of Work are general drafts and are subject to change by the time of solicitation. NOTE: The fire alarm system installed at the Chicago TRACON District in Elgin, IL is an Edwards Systems Technologies (EST-3) system and to ensure warranty compliance, only authorized vendors are eligible to perform maintenance on that system. Your company must be authorized to install, program, service and maintain EST product s including EST-3, in Illinois Zones IL2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Edwards only supports and endorses authorized partners to program, service and maintain the EST products. NOTE: Work at the Fire Alarm System installed at the Aurora, IL location must be performed by certified professional technicians that are factory trained, State and NICET Certified to install and/or test Life Safety Systems, and an authorized Siemens vendor. Interested firms are required to submit the following: -Capability Statement – to include: 1) Type of services provided by your firm. Provision of the same/similar services as detailed in the attached SOWs. 2) Prior contracts with similar type of services provided (please provide details such as length of contract, specific services provided). 3) Fill out Business Declaration Form – attached below. All responses to this Market Survey must be received by close of business on August 14, 2019.
