The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source purchase order to Clear Align (Eagleville, PA). The Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC), in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), has a requirement for thermal imaging cameras, thermal imaging systems, and pan/tilt units in support of the Remote Video Surveillance System – Upgrade (RVSS-U). The FAA intends to purchase the thermal imaging cameras, thermal imaging systems, and pan/tilt units to maintain the existing RVSS-U system under its current configuration. The RVSS-U system is under strict configuration management by CBP and only the specific brand/model of replacement equipment cited above may be used on the system at this time. These items are proprietary to Clear Align and must be configured to and compatible with the existing RVSS-U system. The use of any other equipment would require extensive testing and configuration changes within the system baseline. The proposed NAICs code for this acquisition is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees.
