The Federal Aviation Administration Radar Product Division (AML-2000) has requirement to 50 TR Limiters, NSN 5960-01-520-3540 Receiver/Protector (RP) purchase. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. CPI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the TR Limiter. This is in the best interest of the FAA because it provides the best means of meeting configuration management requirements.
