Provide all labor, equipment and, materials to upgrade the fire\life safety features in the Benton Radar equipment building. 2. Provide all labor, equipment and, materials to remove the steam boiler system and install electrical heat in the Benton Radar equipment building. * See attached Specifications and Construction Drawings for more information. All interested large and small businesses are encouraged to submit a response to this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking, nor accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of fulfilling this requirement. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms or if full and open competition is appropriate. At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. Depending on the responses received from the market survey, the FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $15.0 million. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: a) Type of services provided by your firm b) Number of years in business c) Geographic area where your company can provide services. d) Previous experience for work involving similar scope. 2. General Pricing Information - Interested parties are requested, but not required, to provide an estimated top-level rough order of magnitude (ROM) to include a range of the estimated total cost for the effort as defined in the SOW. Details or breakdowns are not necessary during the market survey. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and will be for a 120 day period from notice to proceed. Any pricing information rendered is for information purposes only and is not to be construed to be binding in any manner by either the government or the contractor.
