The vendor must initial and acknowledge all amendments in block 13 of the solicitation. 02/20/2019 The announcement is hereby amended to make a change to the Statement of Work; 3.0 Contractor Tasking/Requirements part h) removed. 02/13/2019 The announcement is hereby amended to make a change to the Statement of Work highlighted in yellow. The SOW is attached to the solicitation and also included as a separate document. The announcement is also being extended for an additional week. The closing date is now March 4, 2019 by 4:00 PM CS (See Revised attached Statement of Work) Question from Industry & Answer: 1. (1) Do they need a digital or analog attenuator? (2) What's the bit# and step size if it's a digital one? (3) Is the attenuator to adjust for 50 dB to 60 dB gain range? Answer: DIP switch should be digital with any bit number. The gain shall be manually adjustable on 0.25 dB steps (via digital switches) over a 15 dB range to set the amplifier gain to the desired value. 02/07/2019 The FAA has a current requirement for Radar Pre-Amplifiers. The requirement is a total Small Business Set-aside. All questions must be submitted by February 18, 2019 to allow adequate time to respond before the closing date. No phone calls, emails only to nia.glover@faa.gov. The closing date of the announcement is February 25, 2019 by 4:00 PM, CS. Please read the Solicitation in its entirety. The following Market Survey is a capability assessment, sources are being sought for Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Radio Frequency (RF) Amplifiers with added Options for use in the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) transmitter microwave assembly. At this time no alternate solutions are being accepted. Please see the attached Statement of Work for detailed Specifications and estimated quantities. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate Competition exists to set-aside and Compete amongst small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement- This document should identify: Type of products provided by your firm, Size and similar type of products provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance), number of years in business etc.. 2.
