PURPOSE / INTRODUCTION The FAA has an upcoming elevator refurbishment project at FAA's Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Auburn, Washington. Work includes: Refurbish elevator to include new mechanical components; electrical components; communications; and controls. Existing car enclosures, car doors, and hoistway door panels are to be retained. Project to include 12 months’ maintenance service agreement. ESTIMATED PROJECT SIZE The estimated project size is between $100,000 and $200,000. NATURE OF COMPETITION / SET ASIDE The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not bee determined at this time, however, either an unrestricted competition or a set aside will be chosen based on the results of market research performed and responses to this market survey announcement. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 1) This is not a Request for Offers (RFO) of any kind; 2) The FAA is not seeking or accepting any unsolicited proposals; 3) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey; and, 4) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor's expense. NAICS CODE / SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 for Hydraulic equipment repair and maintenance services, which has a small business size standard of $11.0 Million.
