The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation(SLSDC) has awarded a contract to The United States Maritime Resource Center to provide Five (5) Day Z-Drive Training for two employees. The training consists of hands-on training, classroom lectures and simulator training. It will, most importantly, be associated with the effects specific to the hull of the Seaway Guardian and the effects of interaction in working with a vessel stopped and making way at various speeds, including clear and precise communications to enhance teamwork. The cost of the training is $10,000.00 per student.
