The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC) is soliciting proposals to repair certain cracks, seams and construction joints (all referred to as "cracks" in this document) in the walls and/or ceilings of galleries and recesses (spaces) in Eisenhower and Snell Lock concrete lock wall monoliths that either currently leak water into the space or could leak in the near future. The cracks are of varying widths but most are fine (less than 1 mm. in width). Although the cracked concrete is structurally stable, it is necessary to seal the cracks to prevent water infiltration and resultant corrosion and damage to equipment and facilities. There is an estimated 1370 linear feet of cracks in 18 spaces. The intent is to award one contract to seal designated cracks in the selected recesses. The Request for Proposals (RFP) package will be released on or about July 1, 2019 with a response date of on or about August 1, 2019. The required project completion is on or about October 31, 2019. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable NAICS code is 238110 and the size standard for this NAICS is $15 million. This is a total small business set-aside procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the SLSDC.
