The elevator is an electric basement geared traction elevator has a 2500-pound car weight rating with a speed 150 Feet Per Minute (FPM) that serves 5 floors and stops. The elevator is the primary means of vertical transportation for the building and is the only elevator that serves the ATCT. This elevator is in operational condition. This project will replace aging components including but not limited to INSERT FROM REPORT. The project will also bring the elevator up to the most recent version of the ASME A17.1 elevator code.
