This is a market survey to support the acquisition of ongoing maintenance support service for FAA owned flight training simulator devices. The FAA contemplates a firm fixed priced follow on contract to provide maintenance support services for the following FRACSA Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs): (Period of performance: One 12-month base period and two 12-month option year periods) - 2 each FRASCA PA44 Seminole ATD - 1 each FRASCA EC135 EuroCopter 135 Helicopter ATD Maintenance support includes, but is not limited to, the following services: • Software updates, as deemed necessary to keep the AATDs updated and operational a • Malfunctioning parts repaired or replaced at no charge • Live phone support, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM ? 5:00 PM (CST) excluding holidays • Remote diagnosis and support • E-mail / Web support • One site visit per year for general maintenance. • Problem Resolution • 2-hour service response from initial service request contact The equipment and the equipment’s design and manufacturing specifications are proprietary to FRASCA International, Inc. Urbana, Ill. FRASCA is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only known capable service provider for these training devices. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and can show capability of meeting service requirements as noted above for these devices. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing a response to this market survey. Therefore any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. The Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, parts, software/hardware/firmware, expendable and consumable items, and other technical and administrative support as necessary to meet the support service maintenance requirement for these devices. In order to meet the capability determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: Capability Statement – - Type of services provided by your firm - Size and type of services provided by previous contracts - Number of years in business - Documentation that clearly states and identifies proof of access to FRASCA International Inc. proprietary data required to service the training simulators specified in this market survey.
