NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a single source contract to AB Sciex LLC to provide software updates and calibration services on Sciex instruments (AB Sciex is the Original Equipment Manufacturer). The single source vendor is the only known source available that can provide software updates and calibration services on Sciex instruments and meet the ISO 17025-accreditation requirements. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA’s decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures.
