THIS REQUEST IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Treasury Office of Inspector General (TOIG) is conducting Market Research in search of Small Business concerns that have the following minimal capabilities: a. The ability to perform audits of complex financial statements; b. Knowledge and experience with Government Accounting Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States; c. Knowledge and experience with utilizing the GAO/PCIE Financial Audit Manual (FAM) and GAO Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM); d. Compliance with OMB Bulletin No. 19-03, Audit Requirements for Federal Financial Statements; e. The ability to perform tests of compliance with laws and regulations that could have a direct and material effect on financial statements; f. An understanding of the control activities relevant to audits to understand and assess the risk of material misstatements at the assertion level; and g. The ability to determine whether basic financial statements are presented fairly and conform to accounting principles generally accepted in the U.S. In response to this Sources Sought, interested parties must provide a capability statement, line card, brochure, catalog or other information which identifies their capabilities and services provided to the general public void of any pricing or price-related information. Any submitted information that contains price-related information will be discarded.
