The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following question(s): Q1. Do you have a pricing template that you would like us to use for the proposal or should we create our own, so long as it gives you all of the information you need as described in the Criteria Section. A1. No, there is no pricing template. Pleases create your own so that it provides all of the information requested per the criteria section. Q2. Pricing is somewhat of a challenge because of the unknown quantities, do you have a format that you would like the different chemicals priced or should we price based on the waste that was generated in 2019-2020? A2. Please price based on each waste stream (based off of waste generated in 2019-2020). More information is provided in the scope. There will be expired chemicals but quantities will vary. Q3. Do you know the approximate quantities of DEA Controlled Substances that we would need to be packaged removed and disposed of? A3. Currently, we do not have any DEA controlled substances onsite. There may be additional work involving these substances during the course of the period of performance. We anticipate that the approximate quantities will be small should this work come to fruition. Q4. Do you know if both locations have their DEA licenses? A4. We currently do not have DEA licenses. The Criteria section states that the Contractor and the subcontractor must have US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) approval in managing labeling and disposing DEA controlled substances waste. If the subcontractor has this certification, so would there be any consideration if the Contractor is in the process of obtaining this certification or is it required of both the contractor and subcontractor have the certification at the time of submission? A1. As long as the subcontractor has it, it will be acceptable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fiscal Service Procurement on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the existing Hazardous Materials Removal Services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) on pages 11?16. This requirement is requesting pricing for a 12?month base period, and four (4) 12?month option period. Period of Performance: Start Date - 9/30/2021 Base Period: Date of award – 12 months Option Period I: 13 months – 24 months Option Period II: 25 months – 36 months Option Period III: 37 months – 48 months Option Period IV: 49 months – 60 months This is a Sam.Gov Unrestricted solicitation under NAICS 562112. Submit your quotes to Attn: RFP?TTB?40200?21?0019 HAZMAT REMOVAL – JS/MH to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov by 9/15/2021 @ 11:00 a.m. EST. Award will be made to the offeror with the Best Value quote. Technical acceptability will be determined by comparing quotations with the requirements of this solicitation. An all?inclusive firm fixed price award will be made to the contractor whose quote represents the lowest price, technically acceptable offer.
